“It’s a strange world
It’s a very strange world
That leaves me holding on
To nothing when there’s nothing

But I’m choosing to look at the brighter side of this darkness surrounding us all right now.  I see more people out walking, hiking nature trails, and yes… Even children have emerged from their houses to play outside! Perhaps this new world that’s unfolding will continue to open our eyes to the important things, and to the world that’s always been there, waiting for us to notice.

At Dee-sign, we are blessed blessed blessed to have chosen a career in cultivating this planet earth. So many new people interested in gardening! Whether it’s creating a beautiful outdoor environment, growing their own food, planting a pollinator garden, or just simply wanting to add some flowers to cheer up the neighborhood, we have never been busier, advising and helping people develop their green thumbs.  There are so many choices we have on how to handle and survive this pandemic.  Though much is out of our control, we still completely control what we choose to do, and how we choose to feel about ourselves, our community, and our environment.

I’d like to give a personal shout out to everyone who has focused on supporting small businesses and also to those who have turned their eyes to taking care of our environment.  All we can do is our best, but together, our best is pretty frigging great!

With the sun on our ‘sanitizing side’, there’s never been a better time to get outside and get dirty!
