Wreaths, Garlands & Winter Greens
A touch of evergreen can go a long way towards making a space feel welcoming and festive during the winter. We have a variety of options to help you adorn your home or office for the holidays:
- Pre-decorated & lit
- Plain--so you can do the decorating yourself
- Fresh
- Artificial
Wreaths--We have a variety of fresh balsam wreaths--available in different sizes, and either pre-decorated (with ribbon, berries, pinecones, etc.) or plain (for a more simple look, or to allow you to decorate the wreath yourself).
We also carry artificial Hanukkah and Christmas wreaths, as well as wreaths that can be left out all season, and are just intended to bring a little color to the cold grey winter. Some of the wreaths are also lit with battery operated LED lights, to give them a little extra sparkle.
The fresh wreaths are gorgeous, and stay looking good for a couple of months. The artificial wreaths are great because they can be stored and used again next season.
Garlands - Evergreen garlands look ever so festive draped over a doorway or above a window. We carry fresh garland in varying lengths, ready to help you deck the halls.
Winter Greens - Winter greens are branches from different types of evergreen trees and
shrubs. They are the foundation of every winter planter. Subtle differences in color, and more dramatic textural contrasts, are the elements that come into play when putting together a winter arrangement. Because of that, we try to keep many different types of winter greens available, including:
-Boxwood--bright green, broadleaf evergreen
-Juniper--prickly blue to copper foliage, with attractive blue berries
-Yew--dark green foliage with bright red berries
-White Pine--longer needles with a soft and airy appearance, long pine cones
-Ponderosa Pine--very long needles with a coarse texture and large rounded pinecones
-Colorado Spruce--short blue needles with a dense growth habit
-Arborvitae--soft green or gold foliage with a feathery appearance
Of course, we have evergreen arrangements for sale at the giftshop, and we also put together lots of custom winter planters for our clients--but if you feel like getting your hands dirty, you are welcome to purchase a few armfulls of wintergreens to play with at home, or, you can bring your container to the shop and take full advantage of our wintergreen stash (and leave the mess here!)
